Traveling Man Poem by Marie J. Christopher

Traveling Man

Rating: 5.0

I must travel this road for I have messages to give,
To make mankind a little better because of me,
To make someone ponder, someone thoughtfully sad,
someone contritely cries, someone dares to say sorry,
Someone hopes, someone changes, someone does care,
Or someone still doesn't care.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
(Can't win them all.)

I must travel on this road, a winding road,
Which lead deep into an unknown poetic territories,
Some with mine-field, jungle of thoughts, but also delightful fruit trees.
I scatter some blue flowers of wits and laughters along the way,
Pick up quite a few poetic gems here and there,
And for the most parts, I am happy to be here.

I am a traveling man, going somewhere,
Still being determined,
By my biggest Boss,
On High.

(Running out of time, a short whimsical piece. Have a blessed day everyone!)
