Travel Haiku - Alaska's Denali National Park

Denali National Park
his camera makes me
kiss a grizzly bear

Denali National Park
their debate whether to spring
or winter there

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Raynette Eitel 23 February 2007

I've been there, John, and happened to get there for their one day of Autumn, late in August. I suspect that spring is so illusive that you would never notice it. You forgot the caribou, the moose, the beautiful foxes...and Mt. McKinley standing guard over the whole thing. Raynette
