Trapped Poem by jasmine dugas

Trapped in the past, closed in reality
Searching the world but don't know what path I will be taking
I'm jumping from memory to memory, the present is far from being near me
I can see them, but I can't hear
I see water
I see tears
I see a lot of pain, I can feel it but not on the outside
I can feel it on the inside
It hurts, it burn but it's time for me to turn
Come back to reality
But in reality there's still tears
Destruction
My brain can't function
I close my eyes and Im back
Back to see walls and I'm trapped
