Гимн.

Пусть кто-то мечтает
об арфах и небесном хоре.
Мое решение с этой Землей
оставаться.

Когда старый седой поэт
решает остаться
жить среди животных,
почему же я лучше, и я того же достоин,
оставаться и умирать вместе с ними.

Великий Млечный Путь,
эта тропа моих предков
к последнему дому их счастья,
но это не то, о чем я мечтаю.

Я не верю, что наша цель Небо,
мы все равно с Дождем
упадем вниз.

Canticle


Let other speak
of harps and
heavenly choirs
I've made my decison
to remain here
with the Earth

if the old grey poet
felt he could turn and
live with the animals
why should I be too good
to stay and die with them

and the great road of the Milky Way,
that Sky Trail my Abenaki ancestors
strode to the last Happy Home
does not anser my dreams

I do not believe
we go up to the sky
unless it is
to fall again
with the rain
