Transformations Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Transformations

Swallowed up by darkness was my soul
Always disgraced
I could never be whole
My existance was a premonition
That my death would be assistance
To those I held so dear
But no longer
I've grown stronger
And I'll never revert
I'm no longer a curse
Now I can't disappear...
The look in your eyes
Gives me life
And I'll always know
This love is life
Your arms, my home
You made me whole
You kept me up
From breaking down
And I set the stage
For a change
Because you were the same
We both have had enough
We both could've drowned
In our troubles
But we found love
And now we both have life
Because you're all I need to survive
