Transcendence Poem by Suki Nakamura

Transcendence

Rating: 5.0

mud on my feet
i walk away and wash them on the river
tears in my eyes
i let them fall and then i wipe them over
bad thoughts on my head
i let them in and then i shake them off
obstructions on my journey
like a fence
a wall
i know how to jump
i learn how to go through them
i am human but i transcend all these weaknesses and frailties
i know the purpose and i am attracted to it
like i am a nail sucked by this magnet

for the meantime, let me rest and stay awhile with you.

lol I love this! Yes, they say taht transcendence, does not come all at once, I believe budda took several hundred re-births to gain perfection. Or should that be enlightenment? If you know how, as your poem suggests, you will get there. Smiling at you Tai
