Tranquil Place

Man's world's
Filled with chaos
Peace seems to be
Only a dream.

I thought there's
Order in the jungle
But man felled trees
Bare it's without order.

I thought it'll be
Quiet on the mountain
Man has blasted
The rocks out of order.

I thought the great
River's fresh and cool
Man sends all waste
Into the flowing water.

Hope man'll one day
Realize his mistakes
And try to correct'em
To make it a tranquil place.

Lovely poem. Man will not realize his mistake as long as he is over taken by his greed for unlimited profits. (Report) Reply

The way the menace is occurring all over mostly by human, I'm afraid man will realize then only when the human race's existence itself will be at stake. (Report) Reply

Though I have no faith in man creating anything tranquil; I will not say the same for you Tirupathi :) This is quite a peaceful and beautiful thought you have shared (Report) Reply

Pollution, misuse and overuse are thieving the splendour and beauty of this tranquil Earth! Will man ever come to realize his folly I wonder! A thoughtful write! (Report) Reply

Are things of the long ago;
