Trance Poem by Mohammed Bennis

Trance

Majestic disquiet
then jets of shadow
migration
that is fixed in the pure word
Here is the child surprised
by his own secret
Alone
he
intones the shadows
then abandons the trance
to its fate
and falls asleep
