Tractitus Poem by RIC BASTASA

Tractitus

I will no longer speak much with you,
this is what he says today
for he is going back
to where his
father lives.

the word is fulfilled and now
we must begin what he began
we too must know
the incontestability of his words
carved in stone
buried in the magma of time
that the future must find again
to decipher
