Tornado Poem by Cin Sweet

Tornado

The sun takes his time
moon, she don't care
If she is full
Or just a sliver up there
And the sky, well, is always just there

The stars watch like eyes
And the Earth, she don't care
If the stars can see her
rotating off somewhere
And the people, well, all they do is stare

A storm came to town
And that tornado didn't care
That he razed all our houses
Spun and spat people everywhere
And our town, well, just vanished into thin air.
