Too Young And Innocent
It’s been 12 days now
since the fourth of July
And ninety four more boys
Have had to die
Is it just me?
I can’t understand
Exactly Why in the hell…
We’re in Afghanistan
Our boys are young
And patriotic
More than willing
To fight and die
Far too young
And fatally naïve
And far too innocent
To question…Why?
