Tonight's Trimmering Poem by Pranab K Chakraborty

Tonight's Trimmering

time to sleep
comes after
time to awake

again you tell
the truth
after
telling the lie
never you desired
to tell

when the question
of desire arises
strictly another probability
emerges from
the unknown time next
desire to be un-desired
as expectation sometimes plays
a role of unexpected beauty

and time is that seminar hall
where meets all our
proportionate hangings
