Tomorrow Would Be Different This Time Poem by Charles M Moore

Tomorrow Would Be Different This Time

Silly schemes forgotten dreams of yesterday
amazing how they seem to pass us by
if everyone remembered all their yesterdays
tomorrow would be different this time

Spare a thought
and don't be caught by yesterdays
remember all your who, what, where and whys
learn by your mistakes and think of yesterday
and tomorrow will be different this time.

Pehaps it may be so. So far, I've been adept at forgetting my mistakes and remembering the good times I had. This is not a good way to acquire wisdom. Wonderful write, Charlie. - Will

Memories tend to be selective, especially as time goes by. That's why we do the same stupid things at least twice, and then we finally get it, if we're lucky! And there are those of us who just NEVER learn! Good job! Linda
