Tomorrow’s City

God’s building tomorrow’s city
Within The Promised Land
With righteousness, life’s committee
With faithfulness as planned

No mortal hand will cause to rise
This miracle divine
Where no one fears, no one dies
Where love will all combine

With living stones He’ll form each wall
With praise each gate, each door
Always open to one and all
With love forever more

Of pure gold each road each path
Life’s light, Jesus will be
For those escaping endless wrath
These miracles will see

No eye has seen, no ear heard
No heart of man’s conceived
What blind lost fools have thought absurd
The bride of Christ’s believed

Who walked and stayed Christ Jesus by
Whatever would deter
If they would live, if they would die
Nothing from faith could stir

For this blind trust, remaining fast
Till in The Promised Land
To wealth of He who’s First & Last
His Holy Word will stand

So New Jerusalem will be
God’s children far and wide
The few, Christ Jesus’ blood set free
With Him will they reside…..
