Together with Love and Apples

my love and I are always together
together we laugh and together we sing
together we walk hand in hand
together we do everything
on a sunny morning we are together
we go to the apple orchard together
together just me and my love
on a sunny afternoon we are together
we pick some red and gold apples together
together just me and my love
in the beautiful evening we are together
we carry our apples home together
together just me and my love
in the night time we are together
we dream of apples all night together
together just me and my love

Such a great poem! I can actually picture a nice couple doing each item you have described while I was reading it! Very nicely done! (Report) Reply

wow, your poems are so easy to read, and yet they're your true feelings of this world and that's why they moves me.
i'd never read or thought of such gentle lines could bring such strong affection. i'll never think of writing in this way.
you must be a very peaceful person, i really want to know more about your life, do i have the honor to be a friend of yours? (Report) Reply

Togetherness that great chain of love seems an apple a day keeps your love from going astray, the only way to travel...regards (Report) Reply

I wish the orchard should have apples so much more
that you pick more apples and come close and close.
Together you love more and more (Report) Reply

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
