Together At Last Poem by Shannan Williams Schreiner

Together At Last

Separated by distance
Two lovers find
Hope through words of passion
Love and devotion
They would rather be together
In person holding each other
But for now their voices
Are doing the loving
And the words that flow
Across the page
Is all they have to get them through
Until one day they can be face to face
And get lost in a much needed embrace
They long for one another
To touch and to hold
Loving each other
Watch their love unfold
Get lost in the whirlwind
Of magical desire
Passion igniting
Setting them on fire
Yearning, longing for the other
They finally come together
