Together Again Poem by John A. Hancock

Together Again

Of Love's immortal song it sings
When two hearts beat as one
An o'er flourish'd melody
Hope and dreams for decades sung
Oh mystic fate thy honor kept
Play'd devinely true love's lyre
And join'd together for eternty
Two souls to heaven's care
Though we weep through tears we smile
For what came as no surprise
When a bond of love so long edeared
Death just as quickly can revive
Part'd once but now no more
As it was in life side by side
Until the end when by her bed
Stood the spirit of he each night
Farewell oh dearest aunt
Fondly Shall I remember thee
Though not by blood it was thru love
I called you family
