Today It's Going To Be Hard To Smile
Today it's going to be hard to smile
But I will overcome this setback
Even if it's after a while.
Hasn't this occurred in the past?
When I was overwhelmed
But the feeling did not last?
Today there is confusion in my mind
Whether it's a transient in my body
Will be revealed in due course of time.
Isn't this what life is all about?
The uphills the downhills
And those lingering doubts?
Though some seem to deal with it better
Both within and without
How they cope with the upheavals
The word is still out.
Today it's hard to find any solace
But I know a time will come
When the smile will be back on my face.
