You hear a cry
A cry of thine
Your ears are stretched
Your eyes; in tears
Your legs are stiff
Your hands are weak

Your mouth ajar
Your chest is bare
Your voice is lost
Your body is cold
Like it rains on you
You feel the pain
You know he is there
Angel of death
He has come for real

Your soul is adamant
But He is persistent
And I know for sure
Your life is gone
As the last breath
Escapes your lips

Today is yours
Tomorrow is mine
