Today
It's like any other
Lost and Feeling alone
No one there to catch you
You hit rock bottom, the end
of a well

Today
People walking
And heedlessly smiling
The whole world is blind.
They don't know what has happened
But neither do you

Today
The world spins
Asinine to every living thing
It goes on with or without you
It doesn't care, it spun long before
It will continue after

Today
The universe expands
That is all it knows to be true
Indifferent to the stars the planets
It does not know Earth, it does not care
It doesn't know you

Today
The infinite
That you don't understand
Never will understand you or
People or earth or the universe
You realize

Today
You finally realize
You, everyone, they are alone
Nothing will change the pain you feel
You finally hit the bottom of the well
And you are alone.
