* 'to the seeing again'.......

at the lake...full with smooth stones.........
once skipped....having fallen
to become
slippery puzzle pieces
in
loosely
constructed
mutable
mounds...
half-suggested
dancing shadow-players......
immersed....
....water....cold to the skin......
air tasting of clouds.........

gently grazed.by a curious minnow's kiss-and-tell....

we shivered...glad of each-other's warmth.....

delilah contrapunctal.... yes, that's how I intended to spell it.........

Your words sing as they fall from your pen. You take your reader on an Alice in Wonderland journey through rocks skimming and minnows 'grazing' (beautiful word) by your jigsaw puzzle lake. The final line is all heart. Love this one. Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

'air tasting of clouds' - delicious phrasing here D... the simple pleasure of skimming stones and dipping into the lake is beautifully conveyed. Wonderful observation - you took me right there. j x
