I wanted to write some poetry
An appraisal if you like
A flow of words and sentiment
That appear faster than I type
I wanted to say I love you
That I celebrate your soul
I wanted to sum up your essence
Your being as a whole
But truth be told I've chosen
A foolish task indeed
For your essence isn't something
Possible to read
Your being can't be written
And your soul cant be defined
Your as intricate and wonderful
As the stars that mark our time
Your mind creates a melody
Of intriguing playful notes
A tune that simply manifests
That no one ever wrote
A visual interpretation
Or a celestial embrace
