To The Grave Poem by Douglas ClearyMaxwell

To The Grave

I embrace the day my death shall come but may I never take my own life

I will not die a coward nor will I die in vein

Even if this world is full of pain

I do not wish to be like you and I will always do what I choose

If you don't respect me then I will turn my cheek from you

Don't ever judge things I do

I am who I am

I love what I love

I do what must be done and I will take this to my grave

You will never take my pride
