who dreamt about what friendship was
who came to us and shared his heart
who watched us tear his world apart

To the boy who lived aside of us
who never had a friend to trust
who lived within a broken home
who had to live his life alone

To the boy who lived aside of us
who finally had had enough
who we should think of solemnly
who now just lives in memory
