To Silence Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

To Silence

I do not subscribe to silence
As it is detrimental to peace essence
Liberty shall have no meaning
Until leads to heart winning

What is use if we remain inactive?
Speak no words and remains elective
The freedom and liberty can go no together
If we silently stand one side and surrender

We can witness present turmoil
The noble ideals have failed
The great work of black leaders is disregarded
For name sake, only few people are awarded

See the anarchy and misinterpretation
Look at the lawless regions in comparison
The human rights violations are increased
The humanity is fully deceased

I won't claim it for blacks alone
But where have the days gone?
They have sacrificed for poor men's cause
Why have we stopped with pause?
