To Shul You Walk Fast Poem by Shalom Freedman

To Shul You Walk Fast

TO SHUL YOU WALK FAST

To Shul you walk fast
Back from Shul you walk slowly

The slow is better

You can feel satisfied
You have done your duty in prayer
You can think and you can dream
And you can feel trees flowers sky
The Beauty of the world all about you
You can sing and smile
And be in the easy freedom
Of your own happy time

An old man walking home slowly
Happy singing smiling laughing
