To Sasha. Poem by Douglas McClarty

To Sasha.

Sasha died today
Heartbroken I must say
No one understands the pain
Had her just seventeen years
Now can't hold back the tears
She was our loving friend
Who was loyal to the very end
She sensed our every mood
Be it sad, happy, bad or good
Our home will feel empty
for a while
You had that magic
to make us all smile
We always new this day would come
And old age for you would be no fun
So Sasha now that you're in doggie heaven
Remember this....no walkies after eleven.
