To Samantha Poem by Adeosun Olamide

To Samantha

Come home Samantha
The winter closes by
And blankets starves warmth
Come home Samantha
To hums her funeral
Bring tears crocodile with
And earth to seal solitude ours
Come dearest Samantha
To have jewelries shorn her
And care heart kept you
To have hungry lips sated
Come home Samantha
Death has annul nuptial
Your mother is gone Lord
And given space to thrive
Come Samantha daddies arms
Before the winter closes on
To linger resting obsession ours
