To Not Be Afraid Is Difficult

TO NOT BE AFRAID IS DIFFICULT

To not be afraid is difficult
To be afraid and overcome
Is difficult
To have courage
And do what must be done
Despite the fear
Is difficult

It is difficult
And I am afraid-
And have I had courage?
Not always
And will I have courage
Through the end?
I don’t know
I don’t know if I will be courageous
I just don’t know
