My Sweety

Was just a year old
When my siblings and me
tried to Console,
For, she couldn't
Bare the departure
For more than a night
From mom.

The tales
Of new companion,
Chocolates & biscuits offered,
The rides taken,
Lullabies
And the like
Couldn't comfort her.

Yet, with a glance
At the cute smile
Of innocent babe,
And little brittle hand shakes
Of my sweet hearty
Washed away
The tears of my sissy!
