To Live In The Moment That Lasts Forever

When i was a child going to school,
I couldn't wait until the weekend would come
but once it arrived, it was the next weekend
I yearned for and after that it was summer and then christmas
Later on, it would be waiting to get my drivers license,
a car, a new job, marriage -always some future moment,
always living in anticipation of the next moment, and never the present
But now,
I am an old man
and finally, after all these years I will get to live in the momemt,
the moment that lasts forever-
....... the moment of my death
