To Forget Someone Poem by Vishal Kadrekar

To Forget Someone

As I walk on this street, so empty,
All I remember is you,
‘Casue the walks won’t be the same without you,
The heart which was filled,
Now so vacant,
It would never feel the same without you.

Trying to forget someone brings so much pain,
Now those sweet memories, bring so much pain,
With so much love still left to give, to no one but you,
Oh! Yes when your love becomes someone, it brings so much pain.

How these eyes which died for you, to see everyday,
Now, avoid your presence,
This world so full, yet so empty for me,
How will I forget you?
We share the same college, the same street, the same friends.

Trying to forget someone, brings so much pain,
Trying to leave someone, brings so much pain,
With so much love left to give, to only but you,
Oh! Yes when your love becomes someone, it brings so much pain.

When you finally forget someone,
Wounds heal,
But their scars remain.
