To Comfort Zone On Lady How.......... Poem by classic purple

To Comfort Zone On Lady How..........

My condolesences to you,
Pardon if you may, my lack of clarity,
Please overlook, its my pride.
Blot out this youthful foolishness,
That became my wisdom.
Acting like i dont care,
Showing like doesnt matter,
Those locking eyes, that searching gaze.
Surely, how could your affections have been returned?
If you had said to me, sang to my heart
Many years to come i would be so void, ooh so hollow and vacuum!
I should have given you my heart with abandon
Parted my full lips to your invite,
Less a care given in to your touch.
If i had known you would have the last laugh,
Oooh if i had a clue i would be this empty!
Writting a well worn story,
Spinning empty words,
Pitying my boastful heart.
Deceived by illusions of many admirers yet one i only desired......
That one of equal or unmarched pride only sung, 'lady, lady tell me, How can i give you my heart, when you have given one piece here
And another there.............................'
