To Children Of The Space Age Poem by Mercedese Robinson

To Children Of The Space Age

Walk lightly
As children of light
Speak softly
As children of space
For the echoes of your life
Fill the universe
With undulations of sound
That could destroy Go slowly
Do not ravage space
As man has ravaged earth
Listen carefully
And follow Him
Who points the way
And knows your destination Above all
Remember this is not
A "Brave new world"
To conquer
But a universe so vast
So ancient, so infinite,
That man may never fully
Comprehend now vanquish it.
