To Be Poem by Poetical Analysis

To Be

To be born, one must die

To die, one must be born

To be saved, one must wear the crown of thorns

To be lost, one must pay the ultimate cost

To be a mother, one must be

To be a father, one must see

To be a teacher, one must quit

To be powerful, one must unsplit

To be a demon, one must love

To be a terrorist, one must be a dove

To be truthful, one must lie

To see clearly, one must crush the eye

To be a child, one must cry

To be Genocide, one must pick a side

To be in control, one must not rape

To be rich, one must hate

To kill, one must know

Both you & you're victim, & you reap what you sow.
