To A Very Beautiful Tree Poem by Manonton Dalan

To A Very Beautiful Tree

why not; i should remember autumn
with beautiful fruiting persimmon
like a cup filling with sweetness
turning yellow, oranges then reddish
when lips desire and teeth sink into
i know for sure i see drifting snow

melody are same as christmas carol
bundled up smiling wishing more
angel wings left in backyard frost
fingerprints wrap around toast
why did you gather those leaves
to keep those roots warm to age
