To A Absent Father Poem by Priyani Lekamwattage

To A Absent Father

No memory of you,
Cannot remember you,
Wish you live,
Somewhere unknown,
Do you know,
You have a son.

Do you remember the days,
When you loved mummy and,
Promised her to marry,
When she pregnant,
You didn't marry,
Never see me,
Disappeared without a trace.

My poor mummy and,
Her family,
Gave me the all the comfort,
Which I deserve,
But there was always,
I knew,
Something missing in my life,
It is you Daddy,

Mummy never wants to see you or,
Think of you,
But Daddy.
I miss you dearly,
Please find me,
Please find me,
Let me be the,
Happiest son,
and
Forget these missing days.
