Tireless Duplicity Poem by Sonny Rainshine

Tireless Duplicity

Rating: 3.3

Some people are indefatigable.
Many never tire of doing good deeds,
of righting wrongs, of fighting
good fights.

Others toil endlessly to destroy
their neighbors’ good mood,
to seek ways to get revenge
or to create havoc.

Some greet everyone
with a smile or a compliment,
genuine, open,
and freely bestowed.

Others see you or me
walking down the street
and their first thought is:
What can I do to get his goat?
