Tired Of Xmas Poem by George Hunter

Tired Of Xmas

Rating: 5.0

Christmas, Chrisrmas, it’s never free,
Tho I pray to the saints that be.
It’s so sad,
But not all bad.
I don’t have to put up a tree.

But dining alone is the shits.
It’s enough to give one the fits.
Just do your best,
And get some rest.
And that will be the best it gets

In my younger days
It was all the craze.
To shop til you drop
And never ever stop
But I’ve had to change my ways..

At least there’s no shopping any more
No going around from store to store.
It’s too frantic for me
As I’m old don’t you see.
And I’m so tired right down to the core

Bravo! I am not as old as you but I also feel that way, my friend! Time does not forget or forgive! That is a fact of life! You have successfully painted a clear picture that a lot of people can identify with whether they are young or mature for this economy is hurting everybody! Thank you for sharing this terrific write! 10+++ God Bless You! Love and Peace for always! Romeo from New York City...

Terrible to already be sick of Christmas- it's just gearing up (but I know that feeling so well...sighhhhh...lol) I find the Christmas music appalling before December arrives! And only slightly less so afterwards. May peace be upon you, with or without the reason for the season, hehe.
