Tips The Branch

A blossom tips the branch
closer to the sound
every time that you come near
leaves flutter too the ground
look my eyes they often do
the yellow blinding sun
misty rivers filled with tears
as birds gather on the limbs
the smell of dark, green ripened fruit
is hanging in the air.
