tippy and tawny
two cat friends
brother and sister cat
friendship is where it's at
priveleged to be
their pal
cat guy, cat gal

romped thru the house
bent tails in the air
when we got home
zoom - zoom - zoom!

slept together
one atop another
almost smother
loved my lap
and i loved them

buried each in an old flannel shirt
two feet down
carcases into dirt

but they live on
God told me so
in a dream
about heaven's park
for past pets

them above
me below
i saw them
and they ran quickly to me
delighted, purred
at my knee

together someday
we will always be

they talk to each other
and they will talk to me
they watch me from heaven
next to God's knee
he assured me
