Tin Hut - New Home Poem by Micron

Tin Hut - New Home

Rating: 5.0

My friends getting a little metal hut
It may not seem much to some but
Her heart will be happy and singing
For she’s starting a new beginning
The forest stand just behind
And in this hut she will reside
The huts got wood walls and metal roof
I really hope its rustproof
Norway in winter can be very cold
But a great wood stove it does hold
The rain may rattle on from above
But this is to be her home to love
For it is well insulated from the outside
And she’ll make it her nest inside
In winter a blanket on snow will lie on it
And inside snug on a comfy chair she’ll sit
For It will be filled with hundreds of books
To read in bliss no interruption or strange looks
Its to be her personal escape and space
This strange little hut her own place
