Timesong 15 The Repulsive Ocean Of Higgs Poem by Stewart McKenzie

Timesong 15 The Repulsive Ocean Of Higgs

Rating: 2.5

It seems that gravity only attracts
In universes of middling sizes
When our universe was tiny
A quantum storm in the Ocean of Higgs
Reversed gravity - blew everything apart
And triggered the great inflation

Now as the universe more slowly expands
Matter scatters into “empty” space
Where the repulsive Ocean of Higgs
Gradually overwhelms gravity’s attraction
Until each part of existence is moving apart
From each other faster than light

You too can aspire to the highest level of entropy!

I'd read of the increasing repulsive force, but never heard of the Ocean Of Higgs. Great title! Loved the last line. - chuck
