Summers simmer of sunshine
Winters waterfall of snowflakes
Springs sprout with bloom
Autumn arrives with its harvest
Seasons that creep in slowly but surely
Creating in-stride moments
Of celebration and reflection
And shades of reality in between
With subtle strokes that mark
Our times our life
Who and what we be and birth

And then all time will lead
Us beyond seasons and times
To someplace where
It will all be over
Our last said and deed done
Beyond where memory will recall
If truly our heart lay prone to wisdom
And path in perfection's process
If in purpose was found content
And in choices our resolve to be
An unending legacy of His Love
