Time With Date Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Time With Date

I lived in hut
Whose doors were never shut?
I breathed fresh air
Life seemed very fair

As desires grew
But I kept needs very few
I needed good dress
But wore very good smile on face

Why I needed luxury car?
When I was able to walk and go far
The food was kept simple
Wheat bread, vegetable were art of meal

The salary was sufficient
To pull on at present
Everything was available
The opportunity too was ample

Yes I have peace
Life is at an ease
I have what I need
Why should I have lust or greed?

Small and neat home is welcome
It may look inferior to some
But mind should be set
Time should be adjusted with date
