Time To Time Poem by Gero Lorna

A year and five months ago I was injured at work. The injury was pretty severe leaving me for the first time in my life helpless. Since I was 16 years of age being physically fit was the second most important passion in my life, poetry being my first and I was lost. My injury at first defeated my motivation and passion to regain my strength, leaving me in a place that had me feeling all of these emotions and feelings written in my poem. Everyone has that place where they go to allowing to do and feel whatever it is. I guess it can be ones permanent home if it needs to be.

It's funny though cause I don't know what this place is or what to call it if it were depression, denial, fear or none of the above but I was okay there, alone.
