I see a world today

were faith has gone astray

were love cant be found

no one utters a sound

but people change

even though its strange

the sun comes through

the broken soul of me and you

it lightens the shadows

rolling gently over the medows

bringing life back

to lives so cold and black

a smile on a woman’s face

forgets the pain without a trace

she steps out to greet the sun

the pain slowly becoming undone

time does heal you see

even the broken hearts like you and me
