Time To Go Poem by Rik Bertrand

Time To Go

I have been here awhile and it's time to go.
It's time to head out into the sunsets glow.
My time here was full of joy and happiness,
But I must go and find my true greatness.

Thank you for the friendship and fun,
It was all great, when it was all done.
The fruity drinks and gay like smiles,
Assisted my manhood's quirky styles.

All in all we were all a little nutty,
Like kids playing with silly, silly putty.
But I loved you all just the damn same,
Just hated the fact that it never rained.

So it is time to go, I must take my leave,
And of all I said, well, you don't have to believe,
But it was all truth; I had nothing to hide,
I can leave smiling with all my pride.

Kisses and hugs, Smiles and tears,
Winks and blinks, and Belgium beers.
I love you all, no need for chants,
But remember,
I am the only one with white tight pants.
