Time The Uninvited Guest (Original 11 01 2009)

TIME THE UNINVITED GUEST:
Original 11 01 2009

Minds a thousand years apart with
Simultaneous spiritual thought never on
Time -the uninvited guest crashes alien
To the conversation already inhabiting
Rooms vital to time’s most opportune
The room on earth fills with earlier than
Expected arrivals mixing with passion
Player rehearsal according to invitational
Dress codes and the moral hazards that
There comes a time –that humans define
As delusional forgetting -the classic time
Heard in the music that plays to enrapture
You go key hunting -off key to stroke
As huge a star as home is –an alien note
Or two as strange and new –a note that
Humans have heard before and never
Played to score -like notes to hit upon a
Human woman’s vulnerabilities or to
Sacrifice a moment of a pleasure’s scheme
Rehearsed as fun to play –more than the
Deal when done with a smile wide as teeth
Opened to mirror piano keys –a shaman’s
Serenade it seems fades into the room of
Oblivion that time was made to squeeze
To the delight of the classic way
The improvised is heard -time has died
And been put away in both the classic
And improvised music that you play.
