Time Still Rules Poem by Tony Avila Sampson

Time Still Rules

Rating: 5.0

See that flesh? It just quickly dropped,
Take notice of its power when its life stopped!
It once moved about and was clothed with great might,
It roamed throughout, both day and the night;

Possessed with strength to do wrong or the right,
It could build or destroy that within its sight,
The sound vibrating master had a communicating speech,
It could hold or drop things within its reach,

Though the flesh can be a great and powerful master,
Time still rules and the Ruler is still its headmaster.
